The Pittsburgh Paranormal Society welcomes you to our site. Our group was formed in March of 2006. Our goal and purpose is to learn about spirits scientifically and paranormally. We also serve to help our clients better understand the paranormal activities in their lives. We are a group of people who take our work seriously, and with an open mind.

History of PPS
The Pittsburgh Paranormal
Society (PPS) was founded in March of 2006 at Eat n’ Park in the heart
of Dormont. Shawn and the PPS team started their adventures with an
outing to Blue Mist Road. Once finding activity, they decided to
continue to investigate hauntings and urban legends in the tri-state
area.
The aim of the group is to either prove or even disprove some of the myths that we all have grown up with. Back in the early days, the group had very little equipment to work with, however, the primitive beginnings paved way for the group today.
Presently we have thirteen honest and committed members. Along with numbers, our technical expertise has blossomed. We now carry a vast assortment of devices in which enables us to utilize our experience to the fullest. (see our equipment list)
From our humble start, we have gained a greater knowledge of how to effectively conduct our research. We use this research to enable us to continue to grow and learn in order to expand our understanding of the paranormal field.
In the future, we look to upgrade and expand further upon our equipment. We are also open to the possibilities of conducting research outside of the paranormal field to include demonology and UFO phenomenon.
We hope to become successful in our endeavors and to establish a professional relationship with other paranormal groups.
